Tribal Research Centre Museum
A government museum at Muthorai Palada that documents the Nilgiris' indigenous communities — the Toda, Kota, Irula, Kurumba and Paniya — through their tools, ornaments, crafts and ways of life.
History
Run as part of the Tribal Research Centre, the museum gathers and preserves the material culture of the Nilgiri hill tribes, set in green surroundings about 10 km from Ooty at Muthorai Palada.
