Information we collect

Most of the site can be read without giving any personal information. We collect data only when you actively submit it:

• •Civic reports: when you report a civic issue, we collect what you type (such as a description and location) and any photos you choose to attach.
• •Contact you provide: if you include a name, phone number or email so an office can reach you, we store it with that report.
• •Basic technical data: standard server and analytics information such as approximate region and device type, used to keep the site secure and improve it.

How we use it

Information from a civic report is used to route and follow up on that report with the relevant authority. Technical data is used to operate, secure and improve the site. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Photos you attach

Photos are resized in your browser before they are sent, and are used only to help describe the issue you reported. Please avoid capturing other people's faces, vehicle number plates or documents unless they are necessary to the complaint.

Sharing

We share the contents of a civic report only with the government office or service responsible for acting on it. We may disclose information if required by law. We do not otherwise share your personal information with third parties.

Your rights

Consistent with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, subject to any legal retention requirement. To make a request, contact the Grievance Officer below.

Retention & security

We keep report data only as long as needed to act on it and to maintain a basic record, then remove it. We take reasonable technical measures to protect the information we hold; no online service can promise perfect security.
