District Collector & District Magistrate

The Nilgiris district

  • Heads the district administration and the revenue department
  • Chairs disaster management and relief during landslides, fire and floods
  • Coordinates all government departments in the district
  • Public grievance redress and law-and-order coordination as District Magistrate
