Off the beaten path
A slender fall tucked into forest below Kotagiri, little visited and best after the north-east monsoon fills the stream.
A short, sometimes rough path leads down to the fall from the nearest road.
It runs strongest from October into January and can be dry by late spring.
The surrounding forest is good for birds; go in the morning and watch your footing on wet rock.
