Off the beaten path
A steep, lightly used trail dropping off the Dolphin's Nose ridge into a wooded valley below the tea line.
The path leaves from near Dolphin's Nose and is best done with a local guide as it is unmarked in places.
It threads between tea estates and a remnant patch of forest — quiet, with good birding.
The descent is steep and slippery after rain; sturdy shoes and an early start are essential.
