Waterfall
Law's Falls
A roadside fall at the foot of the Coonoor ghat where the river drops beside the old coach road to the plains.
Named for a 19th-century engineer who worked on the ghat road below Coonoor.
The fall is fullest from August to November; in the dry months it slows to a trickle.
It is an easy stop on the drive between Coonoor and Mettupalayam, with the NMR line running nearby.
